Graftap is a job capture service built for UK tradespeople. When a customer scans your QR code or taps your WhatsApp link, Graftap automatically handles the conversation, collects the job details, and sends you a clean job card on your WhatsApp so you can accept or decline with a single tap.
No — Graftap works entirely through WhatsApp. Nothing to download, no new software to learn. You get a QR code and a WhatsApp link to share. That's it.
Sign up at graftap.co.uk — it takes about 2 minutes. Enter your name, trade, and a few details. You immediately get your QR code and WhatsApp link to start sharing.
No. When a customer scans your QR code or taps your link, they're connected to Graftap's server — your personal number is never involved or shared with customers. Job cards are sent to whichever WhatsApp number you registered with at signup — personal or work, your choice.
Graftap responds instantly with your custom greeting, then has a natural conversation to collect the job details — what the job is, where, when, and any urgency. You receive a clean job card on your WhatsApp. Tap ACCEPT or DECLINE.
Graftap uses its own intelligent conversation system built specifically for trades enquiries. It understands how real customers write — spelling mistakes, abbreviations, vague descriptions — and extracts the key details automatically. For trickier conversations it has AI backup to fill any gaps. Every lead is then scored from 0 to 100 — the higher the score, the stronger the lead — based on job type, urgency, location, and how the customer came across. Most leads are fully captured and scored in under two minutes.
Graftap handles pricing questions, availability queries, and trade-specific questions naturally. If it can't answer confidently, it lets the customer know you'll be in touch directly. You never miss a lead because the conversation got awkward.
The customer receives a polite message letting them know you're not available for this job right now. No awkward conversation, no explanation needed from you.
Yes — Graftap runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays. After 10pm it keeps responses warm and brief — no aggressive job capture in the middle of the night unless the customer pushes for it.
It's AI — a system trained to have natural, friendly conversations in plain British English. Customers are informed they're chatting with an automated system at the start of every conversation.
Yes — on Essentials and Pro plans a dedicated call forwarding number is included. On Lite it's available as a £4.99 add-on. You set up conditional call forwarding on your own mobile — so when a customer calls your number and you don't answer, the call diverts to Graftap. Graftap then messages the customer on WhatsApp asking what the job is, and you receive a lead card as normal.
From your dashboard, select your mobile carrier — EE, O2, Vodafone, or Three. You'll get the exact code to dial on your phone. It takes about 30 seconds and your missed calls start being captured immediately.
Graftap has three plans:
- Graftap Lite — £14.99/mo. 15 accepted jobs/month. QR code + WhatsApp link, job cards, custom greeting, basic dashboard. Free for 30 days — no card needed.
- Essentials — £29.99/mo (or £25/mo annual). 30 accepted jobs/month. Everything in Lite plus dedicated call forwarding number, missed call capture, area filtering, Graftap Flex.
- Pro — £49.99/mo (or £41.67/mo annual). 60 accepted jobs/month. Everything in Essentials plus full analytics, win rate, QR scan tracking, opportunity scoring dashboard.
Yes — Graftap Lite includes a 30-day free trial. No card required. If your trial ends without payment details added, your account pauses and no new enquiries are processed. Simply add payment details to resume — your QR code, job history, and settings are all preserved.
Only jobs you tap ACCEPT on count toward your monthly limit. Declined jobs are always free and unlimited — Graftap never charges you for saying no.
New enquiries are held securely — not lost. The customer receives a polite message. You're notified via WhatsApp and can purchase PAYG credits manually from your dashboard to release held jobs, or wait until your limit resets at the start of your next billing period.
PAYG (pay-as-you-go) credits let you accept more jobs when you've hit your monthly limit — without upgrading your plan. Credits are never charged automatically. Purchase manually from your dashboard when you need them. Each credit = one accepted job. Unused credits roll over each month.
Flex is Graftap's loyalty reserve — a pool of extra accepts you earn every month you stay subscribed. On Essentials you earn 1 Flex per month (up to 12/year). On Pro you earn 2 per month. Flex credits roll over and give you a buffer when you have a busy month. Lite plan does not include Flex.
Yes — no contracts, no minimum terms. Cancel from your billing settings at any time. Your subscription continues until the end of the billing period you've paid for.
Your account pauses immediately. Any customers who message your Graftap link receive a polite message letting them know the service is currently unavailable and directing them to contact you directly on your registered WhatsApp number. Your data, QR code, and settings are fully preserved — add payment details at any time to resume.
Graftap stores lead records including customer name, WhatsApp number, job type, location, urgency, and enquiry timestamp. All data is stored on EU infrastructure (Ireland) and never shared with third parties. Lead records are anonymised after 12 months in accordance with our data retention policy.
Yes. Graftap is built and operated in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We maintain a full privacy policy and data retention schedule. You can request erasure of your data at any time from your dashboard.

Graftap uses multi-layer spam detection. Messages are analysed for rate, content, and patterns. Confirmed spam is silently dropped. Abusive messages are flagged and blocked. You'll never see junk in your job cards.
Graftap works for any trade that receives customer enquiries — plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, decorators, tilers, carpenters, gas engineers, landscapers, handymen, and more. If customers message you asking for a quote, Graftap handles it.
Yes — customers can send a photo at any point in the conversation. Graftap acknowledges it and passes it through to your job card so you can see the job before deciding to accept or decline.
Voice notes are automatically transcribed using AI speech recognition and processed as if the customer had typed their message. No job is missed because a customer preferred to speak.
Graftap is currently designed and optimised for UK tradespeople. The AI understands British English, UK postcode formats, and UK trade conventions. International use is not currently supported.
Your dashboard shows lead stats (total, accepted, declined, pending, this month), estimated revenue, your QR code and WhatsApp link, job history, custom greeting editor, status controls, and billing. Essentials and Pro users also get Flex balance, dedicated number setup, call forwarding, and area filtering. Pro users additionally get QR scan analytics, win rate, charts, and WhatsApp delivery stats.
Yes — from your dashboard at any time. While paused, customers will be told you're not currently taking new enquiries. Your number is not shared — this is a voluntary pause and customers are simply asked to try again later. Your QR code, history, and settings are all preserved. Resume instantly from the dashboard.

WhatsApp Business sends one pre-written message to everyone — that's it. Graftap runs a full intelligent conversation, collects all the job details, scores the opportunity, and sends you a structured job card. It's the difference between a note on the door and having a trained assistant actually handle the enquiry.
Lead marketplaces share your jobs with 3–5 other tradespeople simultaneously — you're racing to call first, paying per lead regardless of whether you win it, and competing on price. Graftap captures leads that are already trying to reach you specifically — customers who scanned your QR code or tapped your link. No competition. No per-lead fees.
A part-time admin answering messages costs £800–£1,200 per month, works office hours only, and takes holidays. Graftap Pro costs £49.99/month, works 24/7, never misses a message, scores every lead, and gives you full analytics. One accepted job pays for several months.
Yes. Graftap only responds to customers who message you first — it never sends unsolicited messages. All conversations are initiated by the customer. Graftap is built on the official WhatsApp Business API.
